Approach
I reviewed Tactica through the eyes of a new user—following the complete journey from dashboard to intelligence report, recommendation, decision, live data, and performance tracking.
Discovery
The journey revealed cross-screen inconsistencies around timezones, recommendation lifecycles, live-data availability, data freshness, loading states, and the experience presented to first-time users.
Impact
I translated those observations into clear product and engineering priorities: canonical time rules, stable identities and versions, explicit state models, honest availability signals, meaningful analytics, and a stronger activation journey.

Scope
I reviewed the authenticated experience across desktop and mobile—including onboarding, the daily check-in, navigation, accessibility, responsive behavior, empty states, pricing communication, feature structure, and product positioning.
Insight
The product had a compelling identity, but new users faced too many competing messages and calls to action. Secondary features also lacked a clear relationship to the core habit the product wanted users to build.
Strategy
I recommended making the daily check-in the center of the experience, delaying installation prompts until after the first success, simplifying onboarding, improving navigation and accessibility, and focusing activation and retention measurement.
Deliverable
A seven-page review with desktop and mobile evidence, an experience scorecard, prioritized findings, acceptance criteria, product architecture guidance, and a practical three-stage improvement roadmap.
